Shaw has two small parks: Shaw Island State Park and
Blind Bay Marine State Park.
The delightful state park, located at the south end of the island, has 12 sites.
The beach here is spacious and the water warm, shallow and safe for children. There's also a covered picnic area in a large grassy playing field, and boat
rentals in season. The park is an ideal family oriented spot: laid-back,
off the beaten path, safe, and quiet.

Blind Bay Marine State Park on the north shore, is favored by mariners but also
offers primitive camping, scuba diving and bird watching. It's located west
of the ferry dock. |
